How the Boys & Girls Clubs of Hartford use 3D tours to engage with stakeholders
Introduction:
The Boys & Girls Clubs of Hartford have been using 3D tours to engage with their stakeholders, including donors, families, and grant-makers. These virtual tours have been a valuable tool for showing off their facilities and communicating their progress.
24/7 Access from Anywhere:
The Boys & Girls Clubs of Hartford (BGCH) has long been (160 years) a staple of the Hartford community. Over the years, they have served countless children and families through their five traditional clubs, four public school-based sites and an early learning center. When they opened their new South End Club during COVID, visitors were not allowed, and the donors could not see what they helped create. The Matterport 3D tour was a perfect way for them to see this new Traditional Club.
Stakeholders: Investors & Parents
Since BGCH receives grants from some companies not located near the Clubs, their grants manager can send links to the 3D Tours so that they can tour the Club. This has been a valuable tool for communicating their impact to potential funders. Additionally, the 3D tours are also helpful for families who have transportation issues. It can be difficult for them to visit the Club in person. By seeing the Club through a virtual tour, they can get an idea of what it has to offer and make an informed decision about whether or not they want their child to attend.
Finally, BGCH is in the process of remodeling one of their Clubs. After it is finished, they’ll have Capture Visual Marketing make a new 3D tour to share the improvements. This will be a great way to show off the results of their hard work and engage with their stakeholders in a meaningful way.
Conclusion:
The Boys & Girls Clubs of Hartford are using 3D tours to great effect. By providing virtual tours of their facilities, they are able to engage with stakeholders in a variety of ways. From showing off their work to potential donors to giving families a tour of the Club before coming in person, BGCH is finding new and innovative ways to use technology to further their mission.
